Tarana Gadzhieva is a medical cosmetologist. She has been in medicine since 1993: a diploma with honours from Derbent Medical College in Nursing, followed by Astrakhan State Medical Academy, General Medicine, in 2002.

She moved into aesthetics in the mid-2000s: a physiotherapy qualification in 2004, then device-based cosmetology and permanent make-up at the Diva Cosmetology Centre in Makhachkala in 2005. Her core qualifications are confirmed by state-issued documents: cosmetology — professional retraining and a specialist certificate from NIIZ, Kislovodsk, 2019; dermatovenereology — a specialist certificate from RUDN University, Moscow, 2015 and advanced training at NIIZ, Kislovodsk, 2020.

She studies every year — brand schools, seminars and conferences: thread technologies, injectable protocols, enzyme therapy, professional peels. More than twenty certificates are not a collection but a working toolkit: the more methods at hand, the more precisely a protocol can be built for one particular skin.

She treats skin as a system: first a diagnosis and an understanding of the cause, then a personal protocol of treatments and home care. She works with each client personally — from the first consultation to the follow-up. She sees clients in Derbent, at the Arzu salon, by appointment.
